MAPT’s one of a kind program offers medical academics;  telephonic conferences & online classes for a period of 14-weeks; with a clinical orientation where by students receive hands on experience; and during this period, students will need to achieve a various number of completed procedures. students will be given a window-period to complete liability insurance, at a very small fee; as well as clinical clearances-to perform the necessary medical training procedures. 

students  will learn: Phlebotomy, Medical Asst. And EKG skills, as well as, Laboratory Processing and Data Entry.

 MAPT offers a combination of  skills: Medical Asst., Phlebotomy, EKG, and Laboratory processing.

These skills formatted by MAPT, offers students a new trade that can be used as a steppingstone into the medical field.


MAPT’s primary mission & goal is to help students gain a professional vocational career, and to use it as a steppingstone, advancing skills to progress, or possibly advance within the medical industry.

Our Programs

MPHL101

Standard Program Format


  • Prerequisite: High School Diploma; or GED
  • Legal Citizenship in US
  • Clinical clearance: MMR-1, MMR-2, hep vaccine, TB, DP; (Clinical Clearance form) from practicing clinician, and insurance liability 


Course Description: 6-Month course inclusive of;

basic heart terms studies. Medical Terminology, infection control, Hand washing techniques,.

Patient & Student/Professionals Safety.

Anatomy & Physiology, medical assessment, 

Phlebotomy procedures, Medical Asst. EKG skills. Liability & Risk Management, Laboratory Processing and Data Entry as well as Client/Customer Service Skills. All course catalogs, tests and online books & resources will be given to assigned students only.

Students that complete program with satisfactory grades can take national exam with

accreditation agencies; ASPT, ASCP, NPA.

MPHL-102

Professionals Certificate Course


  • Prerequisites


  • 2-years and experienced working as: Professional Phlebotomists, Nurse, Medical Asst. or EMT with  reference form completed by medical institute where student is employed.


  • Course Description: 


  • Students under this program are considered professional, but are not certified. Students under this section, receives additional expert clinical training toward achieving a certificate. 
  • Students will be assigned to clinical task  for 4-6 weeks minimum.  Task and exams are completed on time. Hands on experience class checklist complete by instructor, or at  physical work-place.
  • must be clinically cleared, and repeat medical procedures, along with test score rating at 74%, or greater on final exams. All certificates given upon completion with completed forms from medical institution or place of employment signed off by manager/ supervisor

BLS


Basic Life Saving Skills

All students must complete BLS class or have a copy of an up to date BLS certificate; upon completion of program for certificate.
